Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said that Turkey provides all kinds of support to investors who want to invest in it, without any discrimination.
This came in his opening speech at the summit of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation Organization in Istanbul, on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the founding of the organization.
Erdogan pointed out that the main condition for the prosperity of trade and investment is stability.
He stressed that the development of the Black Sea region, in an atmosphere characterized by stability, peace and prosperity, should be a goal for the OIC countries.
Erdogan considered that the most important success of the organization, making it the countries of the region meet at the same table in light of the commonalities, despite the differences in their views on some issues.
“Of course, there can be political and even military problems between the countries of the region, but the more we keep this organization apart from the problems, the better it will work,” he said.
Erdogan expressed his belief that the organization should be made an effective way to solve problems between the Black Sea countries.
Erdogan explained that the volume of trade and investment between the countries of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation Organization, is well below the desired level.
The Turkish President stressed the need to search for ways to benefit more from the potential of this region.
Delegates at the level of heads, heads of government, deputy prime ministers, and foreign ministers from the 12 member states of the organization participate in the summit, which is held on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the founding of the organization.
The organization includes in its membership six states bordering the Black Sea: Turkey, Bulgaria, Romania, Ukraine, Georgia and Russia, along with Albania, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Greece, Moldova and Serbia.
